History: He comes from a rich northern family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Tailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tailor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born into a rich family. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting brigands, the young Kody began to lead the lost caravan. He's also a talented Body Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
