History: Born in the north to a Miller, Broce learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Broce fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 98. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is his passion.
