History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When Baern reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away.
