History: Shane was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Spy and found it very stressful. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Naal is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Naal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Naal took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family
