History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Architect hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rurik fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Thorpe was born with his father's beautiful face. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
