Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Nykkan was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Ahrim was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Gardener. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has a very tight haircut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Ernest was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult.

His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Skûn has worked very hard to control his curse. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.
