One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His childhood dream was to be a Barrister, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to be a barrister again

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Seamstress, and he later adopted a second son.
