History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Dain took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
