His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hobart is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. Description: This late middle aged man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body and is in decent physical shape. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. His red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Herbalist profession.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Cairn took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.
