History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Spear grew up listening to his father's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: He is mildly Half-Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Roland abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Laborer.

Motivation: To be a Stableman again.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a white costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He keeps his copper crest in a pixie cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Srorthen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Srorthen. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to get a good night's sleep
