Aline Barton, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat, and is pretty ugly. Her chestnut hair is singed and shortened. Her gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aline grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aline. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: Wants a kiss; and a rival would like her out of the picture
Flaws: Ugly, Disease. Bonds: Has a crush, Slave, Criminal record. Occupation: Shoemaker
Voice: Cold and demanding tone

Cecily Ryland, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. She wears an entirely white suit with grey socks and a vest with buckled shoes, marred by teas. Her black hair is singed and shortened. She has a dull look in her gray eyes.
Personality: She is fixated on the number 66. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and an old rival family wants her found

Hubert Merton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears suspenders and tan workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time. He carries a battered halberd and tarnished monstrous two handed axe as well. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hubert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hubert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
Ideals: Fighting, Pacifist. Flaws: Depressed. Bonds: Attractive, Military. Occupation: Servant
Voice: Complex vocabulary, royal
