History: Aldous lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fortune-teller. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

History: Shadow was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Masseuse they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Weaver, and she later adopted a second son.
