History: Kûga was born with his mother's beautiful face. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He very much looks the part of a Courier. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His ears are large.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Darrow embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. Her moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Huru was born with her mother's beautiful face. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Huru was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

She has dyed her greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Adrie was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Adrie was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adrie's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Oskar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tordrid grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She bought a warhammer and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
