Bernard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Oda's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. The war was a terrible time for her, and Oda does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She comes from a rich western family. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Oda took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up warhammer and armor she uses now. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Now she works as a poetry tutor during her time off.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: Willow hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her singing career. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Jo lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Shipwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shipwright work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
