Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for him, and Trail does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Trail was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Trail fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Sariel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and revenge
