History: Vaina hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Vaina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Bethrynna is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Bethrynna was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bethrynna decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a Barrister, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

She found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.
