Description: 6'2" and muscular, this northern woman wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. Her white crest is matted, messy, and big. She has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.
Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion

Description: He is a husky man, who wears suspenders and grey workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. When Thomas reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Baker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Smoking isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Tabaxi unity. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.
History: Smoking hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A freak accident while working with his Body Guard mother left him crippled. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears suspenders and pastel workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy pastel leather apron most of the time. His cinnamon fur has been sun bleached extensively. His yellow eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Cask was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.
History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Description: He usually wears his green robe and has his pickaxe always slung over his shoulder. He carries with him a set of pickaxes, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is brown and curly. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Cairn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.
History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Driindar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She is greedy.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
