History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Nurkara reached her early adolescence her Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Nurkara and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Salanop was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
