History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Left-Handed lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Left-Handed grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Left-Handed. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A gifted student she started as a Bather, but she got bored and became a Scribe. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ozyman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Mason father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Performer like his mother before him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she is greedy
