His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Synthrin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
