History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a shortspear, but if one is not available she will default to her quarterstaff. She has wavy golden hair. Her green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born in the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Bellfounder mother left her crippled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for her, and Audhild does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
