Barakas Comedy, Male Tiefling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He has dark red hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Sailor born in the past three hundred years. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Barakas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Barakas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Barakas. He has worked as a Sailor like his father before him.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sailor responsibilities is difficult; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
Flaws: Forgetful. Bonds: Job, Mentor, Criminal record. Occupation: Sailor
Voice: Puts emphasis on the wrong words
