History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student she started as a Masseuse, but she got bored and became a Fletcher. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Faral. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Blendaeth and her spouse have recently divorced.
