Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jillian embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Jillian enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of a Mortician, who enjoyed hunting, Jillian was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her childhood dream was to be a Mortician, but she was a colossal failure. She became a Fisher soon after.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Heather was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and to be a ploughman again

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a blacksmith and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: Gale was born with his father's beautiful face. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Healer. He has achieved small success as a Healer.

Personality: He is mildly Halfling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
