History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the north to a Miner, Bethrynna learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but she was a colossal failure. She has worked as a Miner like her mother before her.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Spy job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Peter was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Peter decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. Arava enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.
