History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ella grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She tends to her Miller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Patrin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a deep hatred of goblins
