History: Born in the west to a Barrister, Elaim learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Healer, but he got bored and became a Barrister. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barrister for hire.

Description: She wears a black vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her green leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her black boots flare out at the collars. She carries a battered hand crossbow and tarnished bow as well. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are a pleasant black.
Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Purah was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.
Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears skinny pants and wears a green and brown robe with the hood down. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is baby faced.
Personality: Oriax is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Oriax took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bow and armor he uses now. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

History: Tarak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bricklayer for hire.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears dull grey sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed crossbow, just in case. His hair is silver and very short. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: Theodoric speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: Theodoric lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Ida alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Ida was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
