He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. He works hard and plays hard.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Valida lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: Hatae was born with her father's beautiful face. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has never given up on her poetry dream.
