History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Hatae was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Aldous was born the youngest of three triplets. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Blacksmith born in the past three hundred years. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He's also a talented Cook, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
