Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Varis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Varis abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is his passion

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. She tends to her Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a stableman again

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Right-Handed fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and revenge

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Millicent and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she is content
