History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Pyra has worked very hard to control her curse. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Jacoba speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jacoba grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jacoba. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and retire the richest woman in the south

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: Lezre hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Lezre was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and she wants revenge against brigands

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Soapmaker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: Born in the west to a Seamstress, Zepar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Bowyer, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Seamstress soon after.
