Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is obsessed with his god.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Vondal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Galinndan will drive conversation. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Galinndan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Galinndan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and revenge

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Through the years after Salasar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Salasar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: She is in excellent shape and wears a robe, a symbol of magic around her neck, and a trident on her belt. Her crest is white and very short. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.
History: Doudra was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Doudra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To unite with her brother; and regain custody of her son

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Theirastra liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
