History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Many orcs want her driven away.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dara embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.
History: The child of a Junk Dealer, who enjoyed hunting, Dara was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a brown coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head and is in decent physical shape. His yellow fur is matted, messy, and big. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: Born to a Herbalist, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Leaf took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. Being a Bowyer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Engraver.

Description: She is lean but muscular and wears a robe, a symbol of her god around her neck, and a pickaxe on her belt. Her hair is short and golden. This hazel eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Hlin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hlin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Many drow want her driven away; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.
