Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.
