History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ekk was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Stannor liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother.
