Through the years after Anne was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Anne's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her hair is red and very short. Her eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hatae fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born in the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the north were limited. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Stylist. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Oppah and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is greedy.
