Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Leaf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She worked as a nervous Banker and found it very stressful. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carter for the past few years.
