Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Cora's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has all her life been fascinated with poetry.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: Sarai is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Sarai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Detective born in the past three hundred years. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Havilar lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has a very tight haircut. He is baby faced.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Through the years after Jebeddo was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jebeddo's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
