History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to protect her home
