Personality: She hates Gnomes with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Bethrynna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Soapmaker soon after.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Baelitae alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
