Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears a worn and beaten armor. Her black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.
History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting brigands, the young Gurdis began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Gurdis was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He worked as a nervous Weaver and found it very stressful. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He's also a talented Fisher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her brown hair is thinning but still full. Her gray eyes peer out from beneath her broad grey hat.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Artin embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Artin took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up whip and armor she uses now. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Seraphina will drive conversation. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Mercenary business.
History: Seraphina was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. A freak accident while working with her Dyer father left her crippled. During her travels, Seraphina and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Seraphina discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Seraphina fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
