History: He was born into a rich family. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Orla speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Sumnes's homeland. Sumnes decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and his religion dominates his actions

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has achieved small success as a Soapmaker.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult; and his religion dominates his actions

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and a deep hatred of orcs

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
