History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Through the years after Emen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Emen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. She wears her blonde hair up. Her eyes are violet and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Reddlepop grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Reddlepop. Being a Tailor kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the north were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is obsessed with his god.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A freak accident while working with his Carter father left him crippled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He's in love.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Darrak was born the youngest of three triplets. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Darrak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cartwright.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He worked as a nervous Apothecary and found it very stressful. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His childhood dream was to be a Hunter, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
