Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has worked as a Interpreter like his mother before him.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody.
