Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Shanairla never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in a small forest village. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Frederick and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
