History: Nella was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Moon grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Moon. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ovak embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Ovak was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ovak's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is greedy

History: Dagnal was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Dagnal was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a cartwright and was forced into it by her family

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Merchant. Thorpe enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is a Engraver first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Leucis was taken on many hunting expeditions. Leucis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He struck the Servant job and began his own company from there.

History: He got into the Adventurer business at a young age. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Zephan has worked very hard to control his curse. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
