Personality: Kite hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. Kite enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kite grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Astaro embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His green eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker grey hat.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to be a slave trader again

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
