She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Fortune-teller who has hired her part-time. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
