Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Ella was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She worked as a nervous Beggar and found it very stressful. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Phann's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born in the west. Through the years after Emeny was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Emeny's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Gifted from a young age, Oloric studied abroad. He worked as a nervous Dilettante and found it very stressful. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: With blue face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her copper crest is singed and shortened. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chassath grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chassath. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
