Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He uses divination through singing.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and money/treasure
